Cullensville Gold

Cullensville Gold is a smear ripened cheese washed in a Sauvignon Blanc solution for 2 weeks.

 It has a sticky wrinkled terracotta coloured rind, with a pungent spicy aroma. Initially it has a slightly grainy texture developing to a velvety melt in the mouth feel. It has a background lactic flavour with a subtle savoury yeasty tang developing to a strangely meaty flavour.
